Day One: Arrive in the Boyne Valley

There are so many events happening for the Spirits of Meath Festival this year you may have to spread these over two days.
To plan the events you want to book for particular days just navigate to the Spirits of Meath website, enter your date range and choose- ‘Fun by Day’. The accommodation special offers page will also give you a full selection of accommodation packages.

Why not make your way to Causey Farm for Pooka Spooka. Suitable for families with children aged 2 to 12yr, enjoy traditional games and crafts, scarecrow corn maze, the mirror maze and so much more. Book tickets well in advance for this one.
Take in lunch in Park Rí in Kells and stay on in Kells if you dare! for a good scare! suitable for slightly older children 9+ at The haunted Ghost of The Manor.
Chilled out later with a cozy dinner at the Vanilla Pod and an overnight with a warm welcomin The Headfort Arms Hotel.

Continue on to Navan Adventure centre for their Pumpkin and Fun event. Make the best spooky memories for the little ones with magic shows, pumpkin carving, Halloween disco, activities and so much more.
Grab a bite to eat in any of the lovely restaurants in the Boyne Valley that evening. If you finish your day in Navan then try the Bridge Restaurant in the Newgrange Hotel, The Ardboyne Hotel or The Central bar and restaurant.

Day Two: Enjoy a full day of Fun!

This spooktacular treasure hunt will bring your family on a spooky adventure through Emerald Park to find hidden treasure along your trail. There’s something for all the family; young and old; with fun interactive games, spooky storytelling, potions, spell casting and magical performances by a whole host of characters!

Day three: Celebrate the Spirits of Meath!
After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation get ready for another full day of fun before heading home this evening.
With lots of events at the Púca Festival including The Harvest Market by day and music, comedy and candlelit tales by night ….
Start your day off with the Púca Circus Workshop at the Fair Geen in Athboy. Juggle the fun and laughter, learn to hoop the hula hoop in the big top. It’s your time to shine, in the circus ring. This is suitable for children aged from 4yrs upwards.
Enjoy an early dinner in any of the restaurants in Athboy we recomend The Darnely Hotel
Stay on in Athboy to see Sorcas Na Samhan for the afternoon show at 3pm in the Fairgreen, Athboy that and enjoy a unique, diverse and entertaining show that combines traditional circus with ultra-modern lighting, dancing, and special effects. Shows on the 30th October, November 2025, 1:30pm & 3:30pm and is suitable for all ages. (Note: tickets much be booked in advance).
Or for the adults (18+) Samhain Circus prepare for a jaw-dropping, eye-popping night of trick-or-treat entertainment at the Samhain Circus! As darkness falls, we celebrate the mischievous spirit of the Púca with the crème de la crème of creepy cabaret, hair-raising high wire acts, burlesque, sideshow thrills, fire performances, and so much more.
