Join the goddess of Halloween, Tlachtga herself, in her beautiful Athboy getting ready to welcome visitors on her new all year walking tour of the town which will be officially launched as part of this years Púca festival at Halloween.
The route will start at her statue in the Fair Green at 2pm each day of Púca and last two hours taking in all the historic sites and finishing at the Darnley Lodge Hotel. She looks forward to getting to know you…

Tlachtga is the sacred hill outside Athboy where Halloween began as the Celtic festival of Samhain. The hill is named after the ancient Goddess Tlachtga who is said to be buried there. Actress, singer and tour guide Fiona Dalton brings this local legend alive in an original living history performance of story and song that will both enthral and entertain you.
