The Boyne Valley is also convenient to ferry ports in Dublin and Belfast and has regular train sevices from Dublin/ Belfast stopping at Gomanstown, Laytown, and Drogheda. Dunboyne (M3 Parkway) is a stopping point for the Dublin/ Longford route, while Enfield is serviced by the Dublin/ Sligo train.

With many well-serviced bus routes from Dublin, planning your visit to the Boyne Valley means that you have flexibility and freedom to just go with the flow.
